BYC Skatepark

Brighton’s only indoor skatepark

All ages. All abilities. All year round.

BYC Skatepark is a dedicated indoor space for skateboarding, offering open sessions for everyone alongside sessions tailored by age, ability, and gender.

A space to skate, learn, and grow

The park features a range of obstacles in different sizes and difficulty levels, making it suitable whether you are stepping on a board for the first time or developing your skills.
We offer free hire of skateboards and protective equipment, so you can take part even if you do not have your own gear.

Our popular tuition courses run throughout the year and have helped hundreds of children and adults get started with skateboarding.

Every session is supported by at least two trained skate workers, always on hand to offer help, advice, and support to skaters at any level.

Skateboard Tuition

BYC’s very popular tuition classes are a safe and friendly way for anybody wanting to learn how to skateboard.
At least two coaches will introduce the basics of skateboarding, will work with people individually and as a group to progress, feel comfortable and learn new moves.

Everybody is encouraged to push themselves, but nobody will be made to try anything they do not want to. Skateboards and safety equipment are available for use, and the park is only open to the training group during the session.

We offer four different tuition programmes:

Young Beginners (aged 5-12)
Young Improvers (aged 5-12)
High School Skaters (aged 11-16)
Adult tuition (usually 18+)
