Music Offer at BYC
Whether you love listening, are trying performance for the first time, or are a confident musician, there is a place for you here.
We have a professional-standard venue and fully equipped rehearsal rooms, available to hire at very low cost. PA systems, instruments, and other equipment are provided.
We run regular gigs and open mic nights, organise busking when the weather allows, and host informal sessions to plan events, tours, and merchandise. All music styles and experience levels are welcome.
Affordable Rehearsal Spaces
Book out one of two music rooms to practice, jam, or work on a latest track. Affordable for solo practice, big enough for a group.
Regular Gigs
We host a monthly gig giving young artists, bands, and musicians the chance to perform live in front of a supportive crowd. These take place in Venue B, our in-house music performance studio.
Music Meetings
Young people co-create the programme. They work alongside us to plan gigs, shape line-ups, design workshops, and set the direction of the music project.
Open Mic Fridays
On the last Friday of each month, young people co-host an open mic as part of the music meeting. It’s a supportive space for solo performers to take the stage and build confidence.
